Cruise & yacht weddings · Caribbean & Mediterranean
Not a single day, but several. Multi-day yacht weddings in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, planned around the two of you.
The cruise wedding experience
Most weddings ask everyone to gather for one day, then scatter. A wedding at sea works differently. You spend several days with your family and closest friends while the yacht sails between beautiful places: welcome drinks, long dinners, an excursion or two, and then the wedding day itself.
Nobody is rushing from one moment to the next. There's room to actually be with people: a morning swim off the marina, an unhurried lunch on deck, a quiet conversation at sunset. As your cruise wedding planner I hold all the logistics so none of that lands on you.
By the time you say your vows, the people you love have already been together for days. That changes how the day feels.
About me
As a luxury cruise wedding planner, I bring energy, passion and calmness to every celebration. I love creating unforgettable and intimate weddings at sea, where every detail is carefully planned so you can relax and enjoy the journey of a lifetime with each other and your guests.
Planning is only half of it. On board, I styled the dining space myself: the tables, the floral arrangements, the candles and lamps, the name cards and menu cards with their gold detailing. My aim was an atmosphere closer to an intimate fine-dining restaurant than a function room. It was a challenge, and one I loved.
That is the part of the work that suits me: holding the whole picture, from the first call to the last dance, so that on the day there is nothing left for you to manage.
The partnership
Meral and I have worked side by side at many weddings, and we know each other's rhythm. While I plan, coordinate and style, she documents the day. We cover for each other where it's needed, so you can stay with your guests.
From the first conversation to the day itself, I handle the planning, the timeline, the vendors, the styling and the day-of coordination: the link between you and the yacht, and the host your guests can turn to.
Meral focuses on documenting the day through her photography. Want to know more about Meral and her work photographing weddings at sea? See meralsoydas.com.
The yacht experience
We work with luxury boutique yachts and private charters, vessels small enough to slip into coves and town-centre harbours the big ships can't reach, and all-inclusive once you're aboard. The idea is simple: take over the whole yacht for several days, so it's your people, your pace, your celebration.
SeaDream is one example of the kind of yacht we love, and where we hosted our first full week at sea. We're always glad to look at other private charters too, matched to what you're picturing. See an example at seadream.com.
A real wedding
R&E spent an entire week at sea, celebrating with 105 guests on a private luxury yacht. The morning began quietly, with hair and makeup by a local artist and the groom getting ready alongside his sons, while I transformed the dining space into something closer to a restaurant at sea.
Then the first look, the part that still gives me goosebumps. The captain himself was the celebrant, the groom's brother read about their love story, and the vows were exchanged surrounded by crystal-clear water with green islands in the distance.
Dinner followed, with guests choosing their own dishes and the SeaDream crew looking after every detail. Speeches, the cake, and then the first dance under the open sky, which turned into hours of dancing with no timeline to obey. And that was just one day of the week.

“From the first call to the last dance, we never had to think about logistics once. Rosella held all of it, and we got to spend the whole week with the people we love. It didn't feel like a wedding day. It felt like a wedding week.”

Every package includes both planning and photography. We start with a call to understand what you're picturing: the place, the size, the feel of it. From there I put together a personalised proposal built around your wishes rather than a fixed menu.
From the moment you book, I'm the link between you and the yacht company. I build the full to-do plan and the day timeline, set up a wedding website so your guests have everything they need, and coordinate the vendors: hair and makeup, florals, the DJ, the officiant.
I also style the celebration and run the day itself, acting as host for your guests so that nothing on the day lands on you. The short version: I carry the logistics so you can be present.
Yes, that is possible, though it is more involved than a wedding on land. Whether a legal ceremony at sea works for you depends on factors such as your nationality, the ship's registration, and the waters where the ceremony takes place, and recognition back in your home country is never automatic.
For that reason many couples hold a symbolic ceremony at sea and complete the legal civil marriage on land, at home or in port. During the planning process I will advise you on the available options and any legal requirements for your nationality and itinerary. This is general information, not legal advice.
The Caribbean and the Mediterranean, the two most popular regions for weddings at sea. Our first full-week voyage was aboard SeaDream II in the British Virgin Islands. Beyond that, we match the destination to the season you'd like to marry in.

December to March. It's the dry season, the hurricane risk is low, and the sunshine is reliable: the most dependable window for a wedding at sea in the Caribbean.
