Do we see each other soon?

Say it with flowers

Flowers, they are indispensable at a wedding. And you have them in different colours, types, sizes and nowadays in various types of material. Fresh flowers or dried flowers? Not to mention the meaning of flowers because that too is something to think about. To have a particular characteristic of your relationship reflected in the flowers, how beautiful is that?

Commonly used flowers and their meanings:
The choice of the flowers can be based on colour, the season but choosing certain flowers with a message is also an option. Here is a small list of the most commonly used flowers and their meanings.
Roses: roses are undoubtedly the most popular flowers for weddings. They symbolise love and romance. Red roses express unity or unconscious beauty. White roses say again: I am worthy of you. Roses are the perfect choice for couples who want to highlight their deep love for each other.
Lilies: lilies symbolise purity and sweetness. They are often used in bridal bouquets and decorations to symbolise the purity of love between the bride and groom.
Daisies: daisies represent innocence and modesty. They are often used in bridal bouquets and decorations to emphasise the simplicity and purity of the love between the couple.
Sunflowers: sunflowers symbolise happiness, joy and adoration. They are perfect for a summer wedding and can create a cheerful and positive atmosphere.
Lavender: lavender symbolises stillness, purity and happiness. It also has a calming scent, making it ideal for weddings to create a relaxing atmosphere.
Plasterwort: Plasterwort is often used as filler in bouquets and symbolises purity, innocence and pureness. By the way, did you know that drywall is also called baby’s breath? And is also related to the carnation?

Decoration ways with flowers:
The bridal bouquet, surely is the most chosen way to use flowers during the wedding. Do you really want to be a good match for your bridal bouquet? Then not only the colours matter, but also the kind of dress you have on can be decisive in choosing the right bridal bouquet. By the way, did you know that actually the man is supposed to pick the bouquet? Do you want to maintain this tradition or do you think, ‘leave that to me’.
– Clothes & your bouquet:
– Ball gown: if wearing a ball gown, the advice may be if you want to emphasise the dress, choose a round bouquet with a simpler look. Another option is to choose a drooping bouquet overflowing with flowers.
– A-line: want a matching match for this dress? You can choose different options actually with this dress so you are actually always a match with your dress and bouquet.
– Empire: if this dress is worn, a hand-tied bouquet with long stems is beautiful to match the model of the dress. This way, you accentuate the dress and the dress comes out beautifully.
– Using corsages, is also what is done a lot. Don’t want a bridal bouquet, but still want something subtle? Then you too can feel free to opt for a wrist corsage. But also for possibly your bridesmaids, you can choose to do a wrist corsage instead of a small bouquet. And what is also often done is of course putting in corsages for the day guests or possibly choosing to give only your parents a corsage too.
Backdrop with flowers. Backdrops have become staples of weddings, some backdrops are draped with cloth and others are hung full of flowers. It can have a really nice effect during the ceremony.
Table decoration with flowers is actually also something that comes with it. Small vases with flowers, a large floral arrangement, a table runner made of flowers – you can actually do anything with this. And actually not only with the table decoration but also with the ceremony, the layout of the table where the cake will be placed, at the entrance, at the church and finaly, you can’t think of anything but it’s all possible. Or how about flowers that hang a little higher?
Flowers on the cake? Yes certainly, this is also an option. Or how about edible flowers on your cake?
– And what is also regularly done is the scattering of flower petals after the ceremony. Walking out of the church, walking out of the hall and we scatter petals. What is important here if you guys think this is something, use real flowers for this as well. Unfortunately, too often I see plastic still being used, not properly disposed of which is not very environmentally friendly of course.
